Here it is finally! The volume is a bit wonky in the end but it's the best I could muster with Windows' free movie maker. I used some old footage I had from a previous project mixed in with new stuff I shot.

Good work on the video! I have a suggestion for you on the soap. They make a soap dish that you hang in the shower with suction cups. (Like this, http://www.limearrow.com/Soap_Dish.htm or I've also seen a plastic one that hangs in the corner.) Hang it out of range of the shower spray. It will dry in between showers and your soap will last longer and won't get so mushy. Mushy soap is really icky. This should help! Those built in soap dishes are gross because water sits in them.
Awesome video!! You totally win the video challenge.
But we'll have to do another sometime. :)
csim33, thanks for the idea, I had been resisting a suction cup soap dish previously because the ones I saw at Target didn't look very durable so I got a shower caddy today.
Maggie, no way! You guys are way more hardcore, and win for that hands down. We should do it again sometime :-)
SDG, I just saw the video and I love it!! But, just so you know, I live in "green" California and my friends think I'm insane as well. ;) Oh well.
Hey it's good to know it's not just Tejas, arduous ;-) Rock on with the green insanity!
That was a fantastic video. We have some problems with green-ability even here in Seattle, since many of us students live in apartment buildings that were built either in the 19-oughts or the late 1950s, and aren't open to environmental retrofitting. I'm definitely coming back often to see what else you have to say.
hey linnea! wow a new reader, yay! Good to know even places like Seattle (which I think of as being a green mecca) experience some road bumps too. Apartment living is tough when landlords are not open. Mine is cool though. He ok'd the composting. I'm just trying to get the nerve to ask him about putting in a programmable thermostat.
